  1. Hyosung GT250R

With its new model, the GT250R, a fully-faired race replica motorcycle that is big on the presence and is the only other multi-cylinder offering in its class besides the beloved Kawasaki Ninja 250R, Hyosung is now focused on the quarter-liter space.

We mean extreme head-turning ability with great presence, particularly in the new dual-tone livery of 2012. The smaller GT250R shortens its wheelbase by 10 mm, although the total range, width,, and height remain the same as the GT650R, its older brother. The highly athletic and muscular styling of the motorcycle helps with the very full-size dimensions of the GT250R, which are ideally seen on 600cc bikes.

Hyosung GT250R Specifications

From its elder sister, the GT650R, the GT250R shares a lot of styling inspiration. Take the engine out, really, and they may as well be the same motorcycle. The chrome exhaust canister, which for the GT650R is matte black, is the only feature that gives it away. The fascia looks threatening, and a tall windscreen is there, too. For improved visibility, it features a two-stage projection beam and a digital instrument cluster that looks old today.

Hyosung GT250R Features

A 250cc V-twin engine that produces 28bhp and 22Nm of torque drives the Hyosung GT250R. The oil-cooled DOHC engine receives electronic fuel injection and is paired with a wet multi-plate clutch to a five-speed gearbox. The Hyosung GT250R is offered by the company in three colour schemes – white-red, red-black, and silver-red. The Honda CBR250R, Yamaha YZF-R3, and the Kawasaki Ninja 300 are competing.

Hyosung GT250R Variants

At the price, the GT250R remains a remarkable proposition-it is the only one to displace 250cc and have two cylinders arranged in a V. It is also the only one that is actually a full-size bike in the category, so the Hyosung is the only one on which you can stretch out if you are six feet tall. The scale and lack of influential badges often provide everyone with admiring glances. The Hyosung is not the best choice in the chapter, though, if it is outright efficiency and handling that you are aiming for. The price of the GT250R is Rs 3 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
