  1. Lamborghini Urus

The 10000th Lamborghini Urus has just rolled out of Santa Bolognese. The landmark vehicle was ordered by a Russian customer and painted in Nero Noctis matte black. The Urus is Lamborghini’s super SUV that’s powered by a mind-boggling 650PS 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine. Naught to 100kmph comes up in just 3.6 seconds, while 200kmph takes an additional 9.2 seconds from there. It maxes out at a breathtaking 305kmph!

Prices for the Urus begin at Rs 3.1 crore (ex-showroom). It takes on the likes of the BMW X5M, Mercedes-AMG GLE 63, Audi RSQ8, Porsche Cayenne Turbo, and the Bentley Bentayga.

Lamborghini Urus Specifications

The Urus is powered by a 4.0-litre, twin-turbo, petrol engine that makes 641PS and 850Nm. Power is transferred to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic. Lamborghini claims a 0-100 time of just 3.6 seconds. That’s not much slower than even the Huracan and very impressive for a 2.2 ton SUV.

Lamborghini Urus Variants

Lamborghini Urus V8 is the base petrol variant in the Urus lineup and is priced at Rs. 3.10 Crore (ex-showroom, Delhi). This V8 variant comes with an engine putting out and of max power and max torque respectively. Lamborghini Urus V8 is available in transmission and offered in 5 colours: Yellow, Grigio Lynx, Giallo Evros, Blue and Bianco Monocerus.

Lamborghini Urus Features

It’s a lot more than just a hopped up Huracan as some internet comments will lead you to believe. The face, tail and even the sides are choc-a-bloc with sharp edges and creases and the production version is more aggressively styled than the concept.

The interiors of the Urus are stunning, to say the least with a mix of Hexagons and Octagons jumping out at you. After climbing in and sitting down in this tall SUV you are greeted with a modern cockpit styled layout. This is further emphasized by the gear/drive mode console selector which is designed like the throttle of an aircraft. Even though when you break down the parts into bits you will find a lot borrowed from Audi’s sedan range the Lambo cabin still manages to deliver the drama which starts from the moment when you reach for the start flip open the red cover and thumb the starter.
