The Mahindra Centuro is one of the most feature-laden motorcycles in its segment. Mahindra has given the bike a typical premium commuter styling but with a distinct ‘Golden Ribs’ design element below the tank section. You also get brushed metal finish in the plastic panels on the sides and on the flyscreen for added premiumness. The headlamp is halogen while the tail light is LED. Other notable features include 96-bit encrypted remote flip key, Find-Me lamps and a guide lamp which stays on for a while even after the ignition is switched off.

Mahindra Centuro Disc Brake comes with a 240mm disc brake at the front and is powered by a 106.7cc churning out 8.5 hp of power at 7,500 RPM and 8.5 Nm of torque at 5,500 RPM. It is priced at Rs 56,664 on road in Delhi.

The Centuro is based on a double cradle tubular frame with front suspension being a telescopic fork, while there are dual 5-step adjustable coil springs as the rear suspension.

This new disc brake variant is the flagship variant of the Centuro range as it sits on top of the line-up O1, N1, Rockstar and Rockstar kick alloy versions. Originally, it was unveiled at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo in February. In Centuro’s price range, there are not any bikes available with front disc brakes even as an optional feature. It would be up against the likes of Bajaj Discover 100M, Hero Passion X Pro and the Honda CB Twister in the country.

Much like its sibling, the Mahindra Centuro Rockstar also gets a 106.7cc single-cylinder, MCi-5 motor that churns out 8.4bhp of power and 8.5Nm of maximum torque. The motorcycle sports bold Rockstar graphics and also promises a ‘maintenance-free battery’. Other than that, the Centuro Rockstar gets a flip key, electric start, LED head- and tail-lamps, handle-mounted choke, alloy wheels and an extra long seat among other key provisions.

Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd. (MTWL) launched a special edition of the Gusto 110cc scooter. The Mahindra Gusto 110 special edition has been launched to cash in on the upcoming festival season.

Gusto is an 110cc single-cylinder engine which delivers 8bhp and 9Nm of torque through a CVT transmission. In terms of cycle parts, the Gusto 110 rides on tubeless tyres that are suspended from telescopic forks up front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking hardware on the scooter consists of a drum brake setup at both ends along with CBS (combined braking system).
