- Royal Enfield Meteor 350

With the latest J-platform, the Royal Enfield Meteor 350, Royal Enfield has launched the first all-new 350cc bike. For the base Fireball variant, it is priced at Rs 1.75,825. The mid-spec Stellar version costs Rs 1,81,342, while Rs 1,90,536, ex-showroom Chennai, will set you back to the top-end Supernova edition. This motorcycle replaces the 350 and 350X Royal Enfield Thunderbirds that were retired during the transition from BS4 to BS6. Royal Enfield has introduced the ‘Make It Yours’ configurator for the Meteor 350, like the Interceptor 650.
Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Specifications
An all-new 349cc air-cooled SOHC 2-valve motor with fuel injection is powered by the Royal Enfield Meteor 350. At 6100rpm and 27Nm at 4000rpm, the powerplant produces 20.4PS, operating in combination with a 5-speed transmission. For maximum refinement, this is a first for a 350cc Royal Enfield, the motor is counterbalanced. Inside a double downtube split cradle frame attached to a 41 mm telescopic front fork and twin 6-stage preload-adjustable emulsion shock absorbers on the back, the engine nestles. A 300mm front disc and a 270mm rear unit with dual-channel ABS as standard are used for braking. Wrapped in tubeless 100-section front and 140-section rear tubeless, tires the bike rolls on a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheel. The Meteor 350 is 6kg smaller than its ancestor, the Thunderbird 350X, with a 191kg kerb.
Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Features
A semi-digital instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity is given for the Royal Enfield Meteor 350. For turn-by-turn navigation, the secondary pod houses the display, which is a first for a Royal Enfield. The main pod displays information such as the rpm, trip meter, odometer readings, gear location. On the left switchgear, there’s also a USB port and a dedicated danger lamp switch on the right switchgear. The bike earns a dual-channel ABS as normal as far as safety is concerned. Standard tubeless tyres can also support even easier than tubed tyres in the treatment of punctures.
Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Variants
The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 looks much like the Thunderbird 350X, its ancestor. To maintain a laidback riding posture, this quintessential cruiser gets an easy-to-reach handlebar and forward-set footpegs. For a much more futuristic attractiveness, the round halogen headlamp earns LED DRL. The fuel tank shaped tear-drop flows cohesively through the configuration of the low split-seat. The chopped rear fender and the tyre have a sizeable visual void, and we believe it should have been built a little differently. The futuristic appeal is rounded out by the circular LED tail light.

- Royal Enfield Continental-GT 650

For the first time, the prices of all models of the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 BS6 have been raised. At around Rs 1,800, the motorcycle is now more expensive. Here you can learn more about it. Apart from the extra catalytic converters and revised ECU maps needed to meet the tighter emission requirements, there are no cosmetic or technical improvements to the bicycle. You can now configure your booking time for the Continental GT 650 using the ‘Make-It-Yours’ 3D configurator app from Royal Enfield.
Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 Specifications
The Continental GT 650 draws power from a 648cc, parallel-twin air and oil-cooled engine that produces 47.6PS peak power at 7100rpm and 52Nm of torque at 5200rpm. A slip-and-assist clutch aided 6-speed transmission transfers power via chain drive to the rear wheel. The chassis is an all-new dual-cradle frame that Harris Performance has created. Suspension functions are performed with preload adjustability by 41mm telescopic forks at the front and twin gas-charged shock absorbers at the back. A single 320mm disc attached to a ByBre four-piston calliper up front and a single 240mm disc brake at the rear anchors the bike. Right off the rack, dual-channel ABS comes in.
Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 Features
The Continental GT, in proper Cafe Racer form, gets clip-on handlebars that are marginally taller than before, single seats with a race cowl, and blacked-out spoke wheels in terms of style and features. The Continental GT 650’s fuel tank is lower (12.5 litres) than its ancestor, the Continental GT 535, which had a tank of 13.7 litres. The bike gets a twin-pod analogue speedometer that houses a small digital monitor with readouts such as the odometer and two trip metres, continuing the retro theme. Simplicity spills over to the indications of the headlight, tail light and switch, as well as where standard lamps are used instead of LEDs. The bicycle is available in five different colours: metallic black, metallic blue, chrome, black and silver, and metallic white.
Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 Variants
Five separate colour combinations, four of which are single tones, black, silver, white and an incredibly fetching blue, and a single twin-tone paint scheme, grey/black, are available for the Continental GT 650. The motorcycle competes with the KTM 390 Duke for performance, but it is much closer to the Kawasaki Z650. Neither of the two, though, is a retro-styled cafe racer.

- Royal Enfield Himalayan

The 2021 Himalayan is scheduled to feature Royal Enfield’s tripper navigation device. With the additional instrumentation that lays claim to this assertion, a test mule was spotted. Royal Enfield, on a somewhat different note, recently updated the BS6 Himalayan prices. After its arrival, this is the second price rise. The premium is around Rs 1,836 this time around. For the base Snow White and Granite Black colour models, the bike now starts from Rs 1,91,401.
Royal Enfield Himalayan Specifications
Royal Enfield has worked a lot on enhancing the 411cc single-cylinder engine’s refinement. Without a question, the new BS6 power unit is a lot smoother than the first one we sampled in 2016. 24.31PS and 32Nm are provided by the engine, 0.13PS lower than its BS4 shape. No modifications to the five-speed gearbox however. Suspended by long-travel suspension units at both ends, the Himalayan BS6 remains a capable off-roader. It is the only inexpensive Indian adventure tourist to get a 21-/17-inch spoken wheel configuration that comes with CEAT dual-purpose tyres. Braking hardware comprises a front 300mm disc with a twin-piston caliper and on the rear wheel, you get a 240mm disc with a single-piston caliper. Dual-channel ABS comes as standard with switchable ABS finally offered on the Himalayan.
Royal Enfield Himalayan Features
To talk about the Himalayan BS6, there aren’t many features. The headlight is a small device with a lamp. The instrument cluster looks virtually the same as before, but the switchable ABS console has a few more tell-tale lights and an extra toggle click. Yes, switchable ABS is part of the extra goodies included with the BS6 transition, improving its adventure credentials.
Royal Enfield Himalayan Variants
We have always been impressed with the Royal Enfield Himalyan’s clear and practical style. It looks more delectable with the fresh shades, increasing the charm of the adventure motorcycle.

- Royal Enfield Classic-models Singel Model 350

The asking price of the Iconic 350 has again been raised by Royal Enfield, charging an extra Rs 1,837 for the retro roadster. The Classic 350 single-channel ABS edition now costs Rs 1,61,688, while prices start from Rs 1,69,617 for the dual-channel ABS model and go all the way up to Rs 186,319 (ex-showroom Delhi).
A 3-year warranty and 3-year RSA (roadside assistance) are provided by Royal Enfield as standard on the BS6 Classic 350. In the retro motorcycle section, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 BS6 challenges the Benelli Imperiale 400 and the Jawa BS6.
Royal Enfield Classic-models Singel Model 350 Specifications
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 BS6 is powered by a fuel injected 346cc engine that produces 19.3PS at 5250rpm and 4000rpm at 28Nm. In contrast, the 346cc carburetted BS4-compliant engine produces 20PS at 5250rpm and 28Nm at 4000rpm. A 5-speed transmission operates alongside it. The Royal Enfield Classic 350 BS6 is assembled as a stressed member on a single downtube frame with the engine. A 35mm telescopic front fork and a pair of rear gas-charged shock absorbers are used. The bike comes with 19-inch front wheels and 18-inch rear wheels or aluminium wheels.
On 90-section front and 110-section rear tube tyres, the spoken wheel version runs, while the alloy wheel variant uses 90-section front and 120-section rear tubeless tyres. The brakes have a front disc of 280 mm and a rear disc of 240 mm with dual-channel ABS. Some models sport single-channel ABS with a 153 mm drum brake rather than a disc on the rear.
Royal Enfield Classic-models Singel Model 350 Features
A truly old-school motorcycle, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 BS6. A halogen headlamp and bulb indicator as well as a tail lamp are given. With just an odometer, the speedometer is a plain analogue unit—there is no fuel gauge. It comes with a low fuel light and an engine power lamp, however (in the BS6-compliant version). The more inexpensive models come with single-channel ABS, while in some paint variations, variants higher in the price spectrum get a dual-channel unit and even alloy wheels. The Royal Enfield Classic 350 BS6’s other noteworthy feature is that it comes with closed-loop fuel injection. This means it measures the oxygen content in the exhaust gases and alters the fuelling accordingly.
Royal Enfield Classic-models Singel Model 350 Variants
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 BS6 is available in two variants: Single-channel ABS and Dual-Channel ABS. The single-channel ABS version is priced at Rs 1,61,688 while the dual-channel model starts at Rs 1,69,617 for the black colour spoke wheel variant. All rates are former Delhi showroom prices.

- Royal Enfield Classic-models Dual Model 350

In August, the forthcoming new-generation Royal Enfield Classic 350 was spotted in Chennai. The motorcycle could come in two versions to go through the spy shots. Although the Classic 350 BS6 has already been launched, the 2021 Classic 350 may be marketed as a more premium retro option by Royal Enfield. The latest motorcycle is similarly built to the Classic 350, but it is based on the new J-platform from Royal Enfield, which is also used on the upcoming Meteor 350.
Royal Enfield Classic-models Dual Model 350 Specifications
It uses a modern double-cradle frame with dual rear shock absorbers and a telescopic front fork. An all-new 350cc air-cooled fuel-injected engine, which is likely to be counterbalanced for greater refinement, is sitting within the assembly. This may be the same Meteor 350 power plant that generates 20.48PS at 6100rpm and 27Nm at 4000rpm. The power plant is likely to be a 6-speed model, which is identical to the one in the Interceptor 650, based on the form of the gearbox casing. The bike could be a much better highway tourer than its predecessor with these features.
Royal Enfield Classic-models Dual Model 350 Features
The chain drive is now on the left and the front disc has been shifted to the right hand side, which is another interesting improvement. The disc brake also looks distinctive and could be wider than the 280mm front and 240mm rear units of the current Classic 350 BS6.
Royal Enfield Classic-models Dual Model 350 Variants
The 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 is expected to have a marginally lower starting price compared to the upcoming Royal Enfield Meteor 350, potentially about Rs 1.70 lakhh, as far as pricing is concerned (ex-showroom). It is scheduled to be released in early-2021 and will go up in the retro motorcycle market against the Jawa, Benelli Imperiale 400 and Honda H’Ness CB350.

As released, the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 BS6 commanded a premium of Rs 5,910 over the previous-gen BS4 variant. It’s available with the Bullet 500 variant in a different Forest Green colour that was previously sold. Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Specifications
The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 BS6 is powered by the same 346cc single-cylinder thumper used on the Royal Enfield Classic 350 BS6 as well. With the engine now producing 19.3PS at 5250rpm and 28Nm at 4000rpm, 0.71PS lower than before, engine outputs have suffered a minor hit. A 5-speeder continues to sit in the gearbox. A standard telescopic fork and twin rear shocks suspend the traditional single downtube structure. With the suspension tuned to give a good ride experience, the configuration is very simple. Braking hardware with a front 280mm disc and 153mm rear drum brake remains the same as its BS4 iteration. In 2019, the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 was launched on single-channel ABS.
Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Features
The 350 BS6 Royal Enfield Bullet continues to remain a reasonably basic motorcycle. There are no new technologies to be seen on the vehicle, aside from fuel injection and single-channel ABS. With just the speedometer and odometer in it, it gets an analogue console. You have a separate amp metre pod, but there is no fuel gauge, not even a low fuel level tell tale light to view.
Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Variants
There will be two versions of the Bullet 350 BS6: regular and ES. The ES model gets lighter colours, a motor finished in black and two gas-charged shock absorbers in addition to an electric starter. The traditional version is priced at Rs 1,27,750, while the ES trim has a price tag of Rs 137,190 (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi).
